Terms of Service
The rules for using StoreGuard
Effective October 10, 2025
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of StoreGuard. By creating a workspace or running a scan you agree to these Terms. If you are using StoreGuard on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organisation.
Service description
StoreGuard analyses mobile app projects for App Store and Google Play compliance risks. We provide automated insights, but we do not guarantee store approval. The service is delivered as-is and may change as we ship new features or retire legacy functionality.
Acceptable use
- Only upload or connect source code you are legally permitted to use.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, probe, or reverse engineer StoreGuard infrastructure.
- You remain responsible for verifying scan output before submitting to Apple or Google.
- We may suspend access if usage harms the service, violates policy, or infringes others’ intellectual property.
Subscriptions & billing
Pro subscriptions are billed via Polar.sh on a monthly or yearly basis and renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period. Refunds are not provided for partially used cycles.
Intellectual property
You retain ownership of your source code, apps, and content. StoreGuard does not claim any rights to your work, and we only process materials to deliver the scan you request. The StoreGuard platform, branding, and documentation remain our intellectual property.
Liability
StoreGuard is provided without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of the service is limited to the fees you paid during the three months preceding the claim. We are not responsible for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
Termination
You may delete your workspace at any time from the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use StoreGuard in a way that risks other users or our infrastructure.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, excluding its conflict of law principles. Disputes will be handled in California courts unless both parties agree to another venue.
